Recommendations Before You Arrive
The
following information although not essential, will maximize the
benefits of the program at The Living Raw Retreat and make your
experience here a much more pleasant one, as it will minimise the
detoxification symptoms, especially in the first week.
A
month before you arrive:
Minimize
or eliminate coffee, non-herbal teas and processed sugar (white and
brown)
Minimize
all animal products (meat, chicken, cheese, milk, fish)
Do
not use normal table salt. If you want to include salt, use
non-heated natural Celtic sea salt or the pink Himalayan salt.
Minimize
all processed and junk foods, biscuits, cakes and sweets and alcohol.
Increase
you intake of fruit, salad and fresh vegetables.
Also
optional but beneficial would be to have a few sessions of colonic
irrigation/hydrotherapy or a course of colosan tablets.
Smoking
and the drinking of alcohol are not allowed in the centre.
