Surayah is 44 years old and is a Health Educator, certified by the Hippocrates Health Institute in
West Palm Beach, Florida.
She is also a qualified massage therapist.
Surayah has been passionate about learning about
natural health for over 25 years after overcoming
her own health problems.
Surayah has a great understanding of how the body
functions, the causes of ill health, raw food nutrition
and detoxification of the body.
Mark is 43 and is a Raw Gourmet Chef and Instructor certified by The Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in Fort Bragg, California. Mark has been a chef for over 20 years but became interested in health and raw food when he personally experienced the benefits of a high raw diet. Mark lost over 35kg and his sinus and migraine problems disappeared.
Mark is a extremely talented raw chef and instructor
having flair, imagination and a great understanding of flavours.
Location:
The Living Raw Retreat is located in Pizarra, a small tranquil town only 40 kilometres or 30 minutes inland from
Malaga airport and the beaches of the Costa
del Sol. It is in rural
Andalucia and is
surrounded by old farms and country cottages.
The area is known
as the “fruit bowl” of Malaga because of the variety of fig, plum,
avocado,
pomegranate, almond, to name but a few.
A variety of
sports can be found in this region including, hiking,cycling and
mountain
biking as well as motor-cross and then there are the usual pursuits such
as
walking, horse riding and bird watching. Pizarra is only 3
kms from the motorway and therefore is ideally situated for exploring
the
countryside and visiting the many attractions in the area including the
lakes
at El Chorro, the fantastic rock
formations at El Torcal, the Wolf Park and
Antequera - all are within 40 minutes drive of
the town.
The Ancient
Moorish town of Alora with its old fortress on
the hillside which dates back to the 11 century is
just 8 kilometers away.
Accommodation
All our rooms have en-suite bathrooms.
We have one
single room but single occupancy of the double and twin rooms is
available at an extra charge.
We can
accommodate groups of up to 10 people.
